Our well known and luxuriously known client within the tourism industry is looking for an Event Coordinator to join their growing team.

Your Responsibiltiies:

Receive, manage, and convert inquiries for meetings, events, and group bookings.
Collaborate with clients to plan events.
Showcase and sell the best banquet/event options to the highest standards.
Conduct venue tours with potential clients.
Keep administrative tasks current and maintain updated files on active accounts within your area.
Foster excellent communication and relationships with colleagues and clients.
Gather information and create a comprehensive client history database.
Record all declined business, noting reasons for refusal.
Issue contracts and function orders for confirmed events.
Support the Events Manager in preparing weekly and monthly reports, statistics, and forecasts.

Requirements

Between 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role.
Previous experience working in a hotel.
Excellent English communication skills.
Candidate must be already based in Malta.
Strong client relationship building skills.
