Events Coordinator

Our client is a renowned company on the Maltese Islands and they operate in a niche area of hospitality. As they are growing they would like to engage an Events Coordinator.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing events within set time and budget limits.
  • You will work closely with clients and suppliers to understand needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • You will organize event logistics such as entertainment, venue, equipment, and promotional materials.
  • You must generate creative event ideas while managing all delivery aspects effectively.
  • Market research and contract negotiations are crucial parts of your responsibilities.
  • You will provide regular feedback and reports to stakeholders.
  • You will suggest improvements to enhance event quality and customer experience.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, insurance, and health and safety regulations is essential.
  • Overseeing staffing needs and coordinate team activities.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to help in promoting events effectively.
  • Manage on-site execution and quickly address any issues that arise.
  • Pre- and post-event evaluations are conducted to measure success and improvements.
  • You will actively research market trends to identify new event opportunities.

Requirements

  • You will have experience in a similar role.
  • The role requires strong time management, communication, and sales skills.
  • Experience, MS Office proficiency are a must
  • You must be available in the evenings and weekends when organising events
