One of our clients within the hospitality industry is looking for a Kitchen Steward to join their team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently and thoroughly
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and floors
- Ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked with clean dishes and utensils
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and assist with organizing supplies
- Dispose of trash and recyclables accordingly
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours by ensuring timely cleaning and restocking
Requirements
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Flexibility to work on roster basis from Monday to Sunday including public holidays
Education and Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is preferred but not required
