Sales Manager (MICE)

  Central Malta  |  up to €35,000 Annually 

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead our sales efforts in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the MICE industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the MICE sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, event planners, and industry associations.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to create compelling proposals and tailor offerings to meet client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company and its services.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and post-event follow-up.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the MICE sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
