Chief People Officer

  Central Malta  |  €80,000 - €98,000 Annually 

Our client is a leading group of companies on the Maltese islands. They would liketo employ a Chief People Officer as the company is growing.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of an organization’s human resources function, aligning it with business goals. 
  • You will continue developing and implementing HR policies and initiatives that foster a positive company culture, promote employee engagement, and drive retention. 
  • This role includes leading the recruitment strategy to attract top talent, as well as implementing onboarding programs that support employee success from day one.
  • You will be instrumental in designing compensation and benefits packages that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with industry standards to support organizational growth. 
  • You will manage performance evaluation processes, fostering a culture of continuous feedback and professional development. 
  • You will oversee training programs to enhance skill development, leadership training, and career progression pathways within the company.
  • You will ensure the organization’s compliance with labor laws and regulations, minimizing risk and protecting both employee and employer rights. 
  • You will serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on people-related decisions, supporting change management, and guiding effective organizational restructuring when needed. 
  • You will be tasked with championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, embedding these values into the workplace.
  • You will analyze HR metrics and employee feedback to assess the success of people strategies and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across departments is essential to support company objectives effectively.
  • You will play a crucial role in shaping the overall employee experience and fostering a resilient, adaptive workforce that drives the company’s success.

Requirements

  • You must have proven experience in a similar role
  • You will have both Stragetic and Operational experience
  • You will have great communication skills
  • Be analytical and numbers driven
  • Preferably have tertiary education in HR
