Our client, a Group within the aviation industry, is looking to recruit a Compensation and Benefits Manager to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive global compensation strategies that align with the company’s business goals, market standards, and pay equity initiatives.
- Lead global market benchmarking and analysis to maintain competitive compensation practices across regions.
- Oversee salary structures, incentive programs, and bonus plans, ensuring they are fair and consistently applied throughout the organization.
- Design and direct the annual compensation review process, including merit adjustments, promotions, and bonus distributions.
- Partner with HR Managers and leadership teams to guide compensation-related decisions, including job offers, promotions, and evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations on compensation practices across all operational entities.
- Design and manage global benefits programs, including health coverage, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and additional benefits.
- Assess and recommend enhancements to benefits programs based on employee feedback, market insights, and organizational goals.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, brokers, and consultants to ensure efficient benefits program delivery.
- Oversee global benefits enrollment and effectively communicate benefits information to employees.
- Ensure compliance with local benefits regulations across all jurisdictions.
- Develop global wellness programs to support employee well-being and promote work-life balance.
- Oversee HR Information System (HRIS) management to support compensation, benefits, and broader HR functions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HRIS, particularly regarding employee compensation, benefits, and performance.
- Collaborate with IT and HR teams to ensure the HRIS meets key HR needs, including compensation reviews, benefits enrollment, and reporting.
- Analyze HRIS data to generate insights on compensation trends, benefits usage, and workforce metrics.
- Manage system upgrades, configurations, and new module rollouts to address organizational needs.
- Provide HR teams and managers with training and support on effective HRIS use.
- Ensure global compensation and benefits programs comply with labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes globally and recommend adjustments to compensation and benefits policies as needed.
- Work with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks in global compensation and benefits management.
- Coordinate with internal communications to effectively communicate details and updates on compensation and benefits programs to employees.
- Lead training sessions to educate employees and managers on compensation and benefits policies.
- Develop and manage the budget for global compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct cost analyses to assess the financial impact of compensation and benefits programs and recommend improvements for cost efficiency.
- Partner with finance to ensure accurate financial forecasting and reporting for compensation and benefits expenses.
Requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present compensation and benefits data.
- Strong understanding of global labour laws and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or certification in Compensation & Benefits preferred).
- 7-10 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with a focus on global or multinational environments.
- Strong knowledge of global compensation practices, market benchmarking, and job evaluation methodologies.
- Experience managing employee benefits programs across multiple countries and regions.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
- Fluent English (verbal and written).
