One of our clients is looking for an HR and Payroll Executive on Part-time or Reduced Hours. Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and offboarding
- Assisting with the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent while assisting with the entire hiring process, including job postings candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations
- Identifying training needs, developing training programs and facilitating training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Conducting performance evaluations, provide feedback, and assist in the development of performance improvement plans
- Ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires and manage the offboarding process for departing employees
- Contribute to the payroll time and attendance process as required
- Providing guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Contributing to the development and execution of HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Assisting with other HR-related tasks and projects as needed by the management team
Working hours: Monday to Friday on a reduced part time basis with flexibility between 7am and 9am and working 20 - 30 hours as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for enhancing the employee experience
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 years local experience in a similar is required
