Our client who specialises in the Education sector is looking for an HR and Payroll Specialist. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for updating payroll and relevant data inputting such as keeping record of vacation leave and medical leave, onboarding documentation of new employees, changes, terminations, insurance claims and disability and keeping employees files and records updated at all times
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies and respond to employees’ queries and concerns regarding payroll while maintaining and updating any payroll records
- Work out monthly LSE claims and process them with the relative government department
- Handling the onboarding, terminations or any work permit applications along with and other ad-hoc duties
- Organise, file, and maintain HR records, electronic and paper files, whilst ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality
- Managing the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Assisting with other HR related day-to-day duties
Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm - Flexible
Requirements
- Knowledge of the use of Dakar software will be considered an asset
- Experience in payroll administration is a must
- Fluency in Maltese and English
- Highly productive, proficient and accurate with data, especially in database management record keeping and filing
Education and Experience
- Advanced level of education or higher
