HR Coordinator (Part Time)

A leading company in Malta are looking for an HR Coordinator on a part-time basis to assist the Chief People Officer.
You will be responsible for managing recruitment, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience, and coordinating training and development programs. You will focus on attracting and retaining top talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the full recruitment cycle:- creating and posting job profiles and descriptions, liaising with recruitment agencies, Shortlisting, scheduling interviews, reference checks, managing the ATS
  • Prepare orientation materials and coordinate orientation sessions
  • Collaborate with managers to enhance onboarding experience and training, support employee engagement initiatives and manage the offboarding process
  • Identify training needs based on performance evaluation, organise and schedule training sessions
  • Support performance management by tracking goals, coordinating performance reviews, assisting managers in addressing issues and implementing improvement plans
  • Generate periodic and ad hoc statistical reports on HR metrics
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of social events

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification will be considered an asset
  • Minimum 2 years experience working within the HR department
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and Maltese Employment law
  • Able to handle confidential information
  • Possess a clean driving license

The role is offered on 25 hours per week. Mainly in the morning, but might be required to work in the afternoon on occasion.
