HR Payroll Administrator

  Central Malta  |  up to €30,000 Annually 

Our client is looking to recruit an HR Payroll Administrator to join their growing HR team. The chosen candidate will: 

  • Accurately process and administer payroll on a timely basis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security contributions, and all other statutory payroll requirements.
  • Manage payroll adjustments, including overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.
  • Coordinate with the Finance and Accounting teams to support payroll reconciliation and reporting activities.
  • Process new hire documentation and input employee data into HRIS and other relevant systems accurately.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive employee records in both digital and physical formats, ensuring timely updates as necessary.
  • Assist in various HR-related initiatives and provide general administrative support as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, maintain confidentiality, and be proactive in supporting both employees and the organization.

Education and Experience

  • Qualifications in HR, Finance or Business Administration, Employment Law, Payroll course will be an asset.
  • Experience in payroll processing and HRIS administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Labor laws, payroll tax regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
  • Fluent in Maltese and English Language
