Human Resources Administrator

  Central Malta  |  €20,000 - €21,000 Annually 

Our Client, one of the leading companies in Malta are looking for an individual to join their team and manage a variety of human resources activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in T&A, payroll and other HR related duties. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, your responsibilities will include

  • Ensure accurate T&A updates and adjustments in the HR payroll system.  
  • Submit payroll and salary updates to Head Office within deadlines.  
  • Monitor probation/contract periods and manage necessary documentation (engagements, terminations, updates).  
  • Maintain accurate leave and attendance records.  
  • Support the Performance Management Programme, including job descriptions, training plans, and appraisals.  
  • Prepare HR-related reports (overtime, leave, sick trends, etc.) and manage sick leave processes.  
  • Advise managers on HR policies, legislation, and agreements.  
  • Coordinate health assessments and training schedules.  
  • Assist with general HR administration and ad-hoc projects.  

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00

Requirements

  • Proficient in written and spoken Maltese & English
  • Strive in fast paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling sensitive information
  • Skilled in Microsoft applications and IT systems
  • Strong discipline for maintaining accurate employee data, including T&A records
  • Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and grow

Education and Experience

  • Hold an minimum O-Level education, higher qualifications are an asset
