Our Client, one of the leading companies in Malta are looking for an individual to join their team and manage a variety of human resources activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in T&A, payroll and other HR related duties. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, your responsibilities will include
- Ensure accurate T&A updates and adjustments in the HR payroll system.
- Submit payroll and salary updates to Head Office within deadlines.
- Monitor probation/contract periods and manage necessary documentation (engagements, terminations, updates).
- Maintain accurate leave and attendance records.
- Support the Performance Management Programme, including job descriptions, training plans, and appraisals.
- Prepare HR-related reports (overtime, leave, sick trends, etc.) and manage sick leave processes.
- Advise managers on HR policies, legislation, and agreements.
- Coordinate health assessments and training schedules.
- Assist with general HR administration and ad-hoc projects.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
Requirements
- Proficient in written and spoken Maltese & English
- Strive in fast paced environment
- Detail-oriented and capable of handling sensitive information
- Skilled in Microsoft applications and IT systems
- Strong discipline for maintaining accurate employee data, including T&A records
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn and grow
Education and Experience
- Hold an minimum O-Level education, higher qualifications are an asset
