Our client, a prominent organization in the hospitality industry, is seeking an HR Associate to join their team. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Keep employee records up-to-date and accurate in the HR database while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Manage recruitment activities, including updating job descriptions, posting job advertisements, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews with hiring teams
- Create and oversee employment-related documents, such as contracts, job offers, resignation letters, and other essential paperwork
- Oversee work permit and employment license applications for third-country nationals, ensuring compliance by gathering necessary documents, submitting applications, and liaising with relevant authorities
- Facilitate a smooth on-boarding process for new employees, ensuring they integrate effectively into the organization
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide clarity on HR policies, procedures, benefits, and career opportunities
- Support performance reviews, including probationary assessments, ensuring a structured evaluation process
- Collaborate with Heads of Departments to plan and execute training programs for employee development
- Undertake additional tasks as needed to enhance HR operations and meet organizational objectives
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in a comparable role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- A strong grasp of human behavior, with a proactive and solution-driven approach
- Familiarity with Shireburn Indigo HR software is an added advantage
- Good knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications
