Human Resources Executive (Recruitment)

Our client, a leading operational firm, is looking to recruit a Human Resources Executive (Recruitment) to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will be responsible to:

  • Oversee and manage the full recruitment cycle, from job requisition to candidate onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create detailed job descriptions and specifications.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels (job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, employee referrals) to identify potential candidates.
  • Review resumes and perform initial candidate evaluations.
  • Organize and conduct interviews, ensuring a fair, unbiased selection process.
  • Administer relevant assessments and analyze results to assess candidate qualifications.
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring smooth transitions and positive engagement.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings to verify candidate credentials.
  • Manage the onboarding process, coordinating orientation and integration with appropriate teams.
  • Develop and execute creative recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for both immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in recruitment.
  • Partner with department heads to identify staffing requirements and support hiring needs
  • Provide hiring managers and stakeholders with regular updates on the recruitment proces
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate information, and outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver regular recruitment reports and key metrics to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and implement best practices for greater efficiency.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives and projects that support broader organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for decision-making.

Education and Experience

  • MQF Level 6 qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2-4 years) in end-to-end recruitment within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and assessment techniques.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • A good command of English and Maltese.
