Human Resources Executive

  Central Malta  |  up to €34,000 Annually 

As a key partner to HR management, the HR Executive will work closely with legal professionals and administrative staff, taking responsibility for specific HR functions and contributing to strategic HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment pipelines for support staff, including initial screenings, participating in interviews with HR management, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
  • Handle employee engagement and termination registrations with Jobsplus.
  • Manage the recruitment and daily administration of summer/seasonal workers.
  • Assist HR management in coordinating the Summer Internship Programme for law students.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding process for legal staff.
  • Help plan and organize training sessions and employee development initiatives.
  • Contribute to the implementation of employee engagement and retention strategies.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for statistical analysis.
  • Provide support for performance appraisals and employee feedback processes.
  • Review and assist with the development and maintenance of the HR Handbook, policies, and procedures, ensuring they align with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving HR-related matters promptly and confidentially.
  • Assist management in fostering a positive workplace environment.

Skills & Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in an HR role.
  • Solid knowledge of HR principles, local employment laws, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and HR software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
