Our client in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry is looking for an HR Specialist to join their HR team. You will contribute to the smooth operation of key HR processes and initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you’ll be involved in the full spectrum of HR functions—from recruitment to performance management and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: promoting job openings, sourcing talent, screening applicants, and conducting interviews.
- Coordinate and improve the onboarding experience, ensuring new hires align with our company culture and values.
- Support employee engagement through retention strategies, incentive programs, and motivational initiatives.
- Partner with departments to strengthen our brand as an Employer of Choice.
- Review and update the Employee Handbook and ensure policies comply with the latest employment legislation.
- Organize and monitor performance management processes throughout the year.
Requirements:
- A Level 5 qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HR role.
- Certification in Maltese Employment Law and solid knowledge of employment regulations will be considered an asset.
- Proficient in HRMS systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in both Maltese and English.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
