Payroll Executive

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €28,000 Annually 

A highly reputable client of ours specialising in Financial and Corporate services, is currently looking to onboard a Payroll Executive to join their team.

Main responsibilities :

  • Overseeing and processing the company's monthly payroll in compliance with local regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies, including annual adjustments for COLA and other allowances.
  • Collaborating with the Corporate Accounting Team to manage and calculate client payroll accounts, while coordinating with clients on related matters as needed.
  • Handling monthly and annual payroll submissions, such as FS5s, FS3s, and FS7s.
  • Addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with relevant authorities, including the CfR and Social Security Department, as required.
  • Generating and providing payroll reports as requested by management and local authorities.
  • Working closely with the HR Team on internal payroll matters and supporting general HR administrative tasks, such as processing work permit applications, assisting in recruitment, and coordinating staff training.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a payroll processing role
  • Verbal and written fluency in English

Education and Experience

  • An A Level Standard of Education
