Compliance Analyst

Our client, within the Insurance Industry is looking to recruit a Compliance Analyst to join their team.

Main responsibilities :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, review, and enhance policies, procedures, and controls that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Optimize the process for identifying, analyzing, and responding to regulatory changes, ensuring timely communication and actionable guidance for relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous monitoring and evaluation of compliance risks to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with the implementation and oversight of compliance controls.
• Play an integral role in supporting the compliance monitoring program to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Help foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness across the organisation.
• Provide advice and support to employees on compliance-related issues.
• Assist in maintaining the corporate governance framework, including support for Board of Directors and Committee meetings.
• Contribute to the implementation of the Non-Financial Risk Management Framework as directed by management.
• Perform other general compliance tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably within the (re)insurance sector
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
• Familiarity with the Maltese corporate and legal environment is considered an asset
