General Manager - Insurance

  Central Malta  |  €80,000 - €85,000  

Our client, who operates a licensed captive insurance would like to engage a General Manager. This is a top management role reporting directly to the Board

The Role

  • Handle the day to day operations of the Captive
  • Liaise with the Reinsurers on the agreements
  • Conduct Insurance Risk Assessments
  • Travel (not often) to related companies in various European countries to conduct Insurance Risk Assessments
  • Handle third party relationships like Brokers
  • Sit on various committees

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a must
  • Preferably be in possession of ACII or any other equivalent qualification
  • Have extensive knowledge of Insurance

Skills

  • Be a good team leader
  • Have the ability to handle complex tasks simultaneously
  • Be a good communicator
