Senior Insurance Broker

Our client operating in the Insurance industry is looking for a seasoned Senior Insurance Broker to join their growing Commercial Lines team. This person will play a pivotal role in the company by maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, addressing their insurance needs, and ensuring seamless account management.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Servicing of our commercial clients’ requirements with the issuing of quotations and new insurance policies,
• Servicing the processing of insurance policy renewals
• Handling of insurance claims
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients, understanding their insurance requirements, and offering suitable solutions.
• Gather necessary information from clients to assess their insurance needs and present appropriate options;
• Research insurance policies from various companies and negotiate with underwriters to secure the best terms for clients;
• Ensure clients understand the terms and coverage of their policies in accordance with industry regulations;
• Process renewals and amendments to existing policies efficiently and accurately;
• Handle administrative tasks including paperwork, correspondence, and maintaining detailed records.

Requirements

• Around 2 years of previous local experience working in commercial lines
• Previous experience as a Broker is considered a strong asset
• Fluency in Maltese and English
• Able to maintain an excellent relationship with clients
• Autonomous with strong attention to detail

Education and Experience

• Candidates with CII certification will be given preference
