Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Lawyer to join their Transport, IP & Tech team, which also oversees procurement matters. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-value projects, providing legal support to both private and public sector clients in navigating regulatory challenges, major public procurement contracts, and concessions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on transport, asset finance, and procurement matters.
- Draft and review legal and commercial documents, including contracts, agreements, and tenders.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and professional advisors to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assist clients in navigating complex regulatory frameworks, including procurement laws and industry-specific legislation.
- Support clients throughout the procurement process, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and risk management.
- Conduct legal research on legislative changes, market trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with senior legal professionals in a supportive and professional environment.
- Keep clients informed on legal developments and provide proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Generalist legal background, preferably with exposure to transport, asset finance, and procurement law.
- Strong legal drafting, advisory, and transactional skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to draft clear and commercially viable legal documents.
- Highly motivated, commercially oriented, and eager to grow in the legal field.
