Immigration Lawyer

  Central Malta  |  €45,000 - €60,000 Annually 

A Boutique CSP is currently on the lookout for an Immigration Lawyer to join their team.

Duties include: 

  • Advising private clients on investment migration programmes, residency and citizenship, due diligence, including relocation to Malta and other immigration-related matters. 
  • Handling the registration of documents at the Malta Public Registry, CFR, Identita’ and other related Departments. 
  • Drafting legal memos and supporting documentation. 
  • Assist clients with applications for residence permits, visas, work permits, citizenship, and other immigration-related matters 
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with clients, ensuring they are informed about the progress of their applications and any regulatory updates affecting their status. 
  • Staying up to date with changes in local and international immigration laws and advising clients accordingly. 
  • Supporting clients in the preparation of appeal submissions or responding to inquiries from immigration authorities. 
  • Assisting in internal training sessions on immigration law updates for colleagues or external stakeholders. 
  • Liaising with local immigration and tax authorities on behalf of clients. 
  • Contributing to content creation, including articles, publications, and updates on immigration matters. 
  • Providing guidance on the necessary steps and conditions for obtaining different types of licenses in Malta. 
  • Drafting or reviewing various legal agreements, such as employment contracts, service agreements, shareholder agreements, and lease agreements, Ensuring all agreements adhere to Maltese and EU legal frameworks. 
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide holistic legal services to our clients. 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of local experience in Immigration law
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Maltese
  • Proactive mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience

  • Fully qualified lawyer with a Maltese warrant
