Legal Advisor

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €40,000 Annually 

Our client, a leading CSP is seeking to recruit a Legal Advisor to join their Legal team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on a multitude of legal and regulatory obligations within multiple fields of law including but not limited to commercial law, regulated industries, intellectual property law and privacy law
  • Assisting in and taking ownership on the day-to-day planning and management of clients’ activities and obligations imposed by way of operation of the clients’ business activities, local regulatory and supervisory authorities
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of legal instruments
  • Keeping abreast of all relevant laws and regulations and their development relevant to the areas of operation in which the assigned portfolio of clients operate in
  • Developing and delivering training to clients as well as team members on the use of systems, procedures and internal processes of relevant concern
  • Any other duty which may be required from time to time

Requirements

  • A minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Highly organized with an ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong knowledge in Maltese laws and regulations

Education and Experience

  • Fully qualified and locally warranted lawyer
