Legal Counsel

  Central Malta  |  €35,000 - €45,000 Annually 

Our client in the Gaming industry is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team in Malta. This role involves managing a variety of legal matters, including drafting and reviewing agreements, researching domestic and international laws, and ensuring legal compliance across business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review agreements with clients and service providers, along with other business-related legal documents.
  • Manage matters related to Corporate, IP, KYC/AML, Data Protection, IT, and Labour Law.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze risks, and provide structured solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Maintain internal legal databases and documentation.
  • Monitor legal processes and coordinate document exchanges within the group’s legal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an in-house counsel or associate in a law firm.
  • Strong expertise in corporate, commercial, and administrative law (mandatory); experience in tax law and litigation is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and writing skills, with the ability to identify dependencies in processes and documents.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities, business acumen, and a proactive approach.
  • A flexible, motivated team player with strong problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Maltese Law (international education is an advantage).
