Senior Legal Counsel

  Central Malta  |  €75,000 - €85,000 Annually 

A client of ours specialised in the iGaming sector, is looking to onboard a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team:

Duties:

  • Drafting and implementing operational policies, procedures, guidelines and manuals and ensure these are in line with the relevant laws 
  • Negotiating complex commercial agreements
  • Providing legal advice and risk assessment to senior leadership.
  • Leading litigation management and regulatory investigations.
  • Overseeing relationships with external counsel to ensure cost-effective and high-quality legal support.
  • Developing legal processes, leveraging technologies such as generative AI for operational efficiency.
  • Providing advise to group stakeholders on mitigating legal and regulatory risks in all jurisdictions in which the companies operate in or from
  • Ensuring compliance with gaming regulations through policy development, monitoring, and licensing oversight.
  • Supporting corporate governance initiatives and acting as a key advisor on legal matters impacting the business.

Requirements

  • Highly experienced in interacting with regulators and navigating multi-jurisdictional legal environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency with tech tools and ability to quickly learn new software applications

Education and Experience

  • Must be a qualified Lawyer
