Our client is looking for a EU & International Affairs Officer to join their growing team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Actively engage in and document discussions, meetings, and expert sub-groups held at both European and international levels, notably those organized by the organization's Board. Attendance will be required both in person abroad and via online platforms.
Represent the organization in deliberations and decision-making processes on all matters within its mandate at both the European and international levels.
Prepare timely and accurate documentation, reports, and briefing notes for the organization's plenary sessions, expert sub-groups, and other international engagements.
Conduct research and provide informed advice to the Commissioner on European and international matters, particularly regarding strategic positioning.
Take an active role as a co- or lead rapporteur in drafting guidelines and interpreting GDPR provisions within the organisation's framework.
Collaborate with other authorities and stakeholders to promote and advocate the organization's stance on data protection matters and build strategic partnerships.
Participate in internal and external networking initiatives.
Attend training sessions, meetings, seminars, and conferences, as directed by the Commissioner, locally or internationally.
Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as delegated by the Commissioner.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree at MQF Level 6 in European Studies or Research or Sociology or International Relations or Social Sciences or Political Sciences, or in any other relevant area is a must
