Quality Assurance Officer
Location: Athens
Category Salary ΙV: Gross monthly - 2.894,57 Euros
The Quality Assurance Officer works under the supervision of EUAA in performing some or all of the following tasks:
- Perform in depth analysis of statistical data, indicators, results and reports regarding identified focused areas of EUAA operations, mainly in the area of asylum;
- Review on a regular basis anonymised case files from identified focused areas of EUAA operations;
- Perform quality review of files according to pre-identified criteria;
- Perform shadowing of asylum interviews and/or opinion drafting, according to pre-identified criteria;
- Keep updated on and maintain excellent understanding of all instructions from SOPs, quality feedback and other provided guidance;
- Support in the implementation of SOPs, quality feedback and guidance and ensure their proper implementation;
- If requested, support on coaching exercises general or thematic ones;
- Support the organisation and facilitation of thematic workshops in support to Operations;
- Contribute to the development of operational tools and good practices to Operations;
- Support EUAA operations by giving technical advice, quality reviews, coaching, assessments, etc. as required, in areas related to asylum and vulnerability;
- Organize and participate in workshops and meetings;
- Participate in trainings
- Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.
Requirements for Quality Assurance Officer
- University degree is required, preferably in the field of law, political, humanitarian, social studies;
- Post-graduate degree will be considered as an asset;
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in the field of refugee status determination will be considered an advantage;
- Demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks will be considered an advantage;
- Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written);
- Computer literacy, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web-based applications;
- Very good knowledge of asylum procedures;
- Excellent analytical, organisational and prioritisation skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Available to participate in missions in the interest of the Service
Training Support Officer – Asylum
Location: Athens
Category Salary ΙV: Gross monthly - 2.894,57 Euros
The Training Support Officer - Asylum works under the supervision of EUAA in performing some or all of the following tasks:
- Work as a member of a team of trainers who organise and deliver training activities under the supervision of the EUAA Training and Professional Development Center, in particular trainings on European Asylum Curriculum modules, tailor-made training sessions and on the job coaching sessions for various target groups, including newly hired and experienced personnel;
- Provide one-to-one coaching to EUAA caseworkers deployed in different locations;
- Analyse the evaluations of training sessions and propose necessary adjustments;
- Contribute to training needs analysis on the ground, in close consultation with the relevant persons in the operation and EUAA Training Planning and Programming Sector;
- Participate in quality assurance procedures of the Greek operations (e.g. quality feedback exercise, etc);
- Support the design tailor-made trainings, based on the needs analysis conducted on the ground;
- Acquire knowledge and skills in didactics and be trained in other EUAA training modules;
- Provide regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services and challenges (e.g. reporting on trainers’ activities; separate reporting on coaching or ad-hoc trainings, including recommendations);
- Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.
Requirements for Training Support Officer – Asylum
- University degree is required, preferably in the field of law, political, humanitarian, social studies;
- Post-graduate degree will be considered as an asset;
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in the field of refugee status determination will be considered an advantage;
- Completed training on the EUAA core modules (Inclusion, Interview Techniques, Evidence Assessment) is required - dates must be explicitly mentioned in the CV;
- Additional EUAA or other trainings in specific aspects of the asylum procedure e.g. Exclusion, Dublin procedure, COI etc. will be an advantage - dates must be explicitly mentioned in the CV;
- Previous experience and/or complete training in didactics will be an advantage;
- Demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks will be considered an advantage;
- Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written);
- Computer literacy, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web-based applications;
- Very good knowledge of asylum procedures;
