Operations and Logistics Officer - Interim support
Location: EUAA HQ, Malta.
Tentative start date: 03/02/2025, with a probationary period of 6 months.
Salary Category IV - Gross monthly: 3,920.72.

Job Description
- Facilitate and oversee daily operational activities for country coordination teams and across different country operations, ensuring alignment with EUAA operational priorities and guidelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact between HQ and field staff, ensuring clear and effective communication to facilitate collaboration, delivery of program activities and resolution of issues by coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders, including administrative, logistics, and country operations teams
- Provide advanced operational and logistical support for field activities, identifying and addressing administrative, logistical, and resource-related needs for country teams, ensuring timely communication with the relevant administrative clusters for approvals, procurement, and payments
- Develop and refine workflows, guidelines, and procedures to standardise and harmonize practices across teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
- Actively identify and address logistical, administrative, and resource needs, optimising the use of resources and ensure implementation of specific activities in compliance with administrative and operational timelines
- Identify operational challenges and propose practical, efficient solutions to improve workflows
- Provide proactive, hands-on support in the field to ensure operations remain uninterrupted and all issues are resolved swiftly
Minimum requirement
- A completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma;
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in supporting operations
- Thorough Knowledge of English (level C1 in all dimensions as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or CEFRL);
- Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite, use of internet and web-based applications;
Advantageous
- University degree in the field of law, political, humanitarian, social studies
- Knowledge of Common European Asylum System - CEAS
- Professional experience in working in an international environment
