One of the leading companies within the manufacturing industries is looking for Pre-Press Lead.
Achieve key process indicators: zero labor/material variance, 100% OTD, and < 2% NRFT.
Maintain the ERP system and conduct stock takes as required.
Manage inventory of Prepress-related components.
Establish mechanisms to ensure timely and qualitative operational plan requirements are met.
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to promote team integration and participation.
Identify succession plans, training needs, and career development opportunities.
Implement mechanisms to capture job processing variances for the End-of-Job quality document.
Continuously develop and update standard operating procedures, FMEAs, and control plans, including retraining where necessary.
Benchmark with other sites and key suppliers to stay updated on state-of-the-art technology and best practices.
Understand and apply Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement principles, coaching the team in these tools.
Act in compliance with company guidelines and policies, particularly those related to Environmental Health and Safety, ethics, and the code of business principles.
Undertake additional duties as required to support business needs.
Requirements
Has Excellent level of Maltese and English. Both speaking and writing
Very good working knowledge of an ERP system
Excellent leadership and Communication Skills
Education and Experience
Obtains MCAST Higher Technician Diploma in Engineering or other Science subject.
