Our client is looking to recruit an individual who would evaluates and assess the efficiency of current operational systems, processes, workflows, and methods. This person would also develop improvements that are sustainable, repeatable, and measurable whilst creating and recommending processes to enhance safety, boost productivity and efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Designs, implements, and optimizes processes for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leads Kaizen events to enhance Lean manufacturing, aiming to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality.
- Enhances process flow through mapping to improve layout, standard work, and cycle time.
- Assists in creating measurement systems to monitor continuous improvement trends, enhancing absorption, utilization, and cost reduction.
- Analyzes and implements corrective actions to optimize processes, increase yield, improve on-time delivery, and reduce cycle time.
- Supports the deployment of continuous improvement actions.
- Identifies and investigates opportunities for process and procedural improvements, focusing on key performance metrics.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices, and standards gained through academic training and/or relevant work experience.
- Develops solutions for defined tasks and projects using existing approaches and specialized knowledge.
- Collaborates with immediate management and team members within the department or function.
Education and Experience
- A relevant educational qualification (Diploma level is the minimum).
- Minimum 2 years experience in a relevant role.
