Retail Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Operations Coordinator to oversee and manage the daily operations of several retail stores across the island. The ideal candidate must have a passion for customer service, a keen eye for operational efficiency, and the ability to lead a team to meet and exceed business goals. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth store operations, enhancing the customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail stores, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and ensure timely restocking of products.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of retail associates to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and offer development opportunities for team members.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring staff is trained and engaged in customer-focused behaviours.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns effectively, ensuring resolutions that drive satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and work with management to implement strategies for growth.
  • Ensure products are correctly displayed and meet company visual merchandising standards.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and work closely with the inventory team to manage stock levels and avoid overstock or stockouts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and personnel performance.
  • Prepare and present reports on store performance to senior management.
  • Ensure proper documentation for employee work schedules, payroll, and other operational matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail management or operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, and customer service best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a clean driving license

Working Hours

Flexible working hours which may include weekend, holiday, or afternoon shifts based on the operational requirement
