We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Operations Coordinator to oversee and manage the daily operations of several retail stores across the island. The ideal candidate must have a passion for customer service, a keen eye for operational efficiency, and the ability to lead a team to meet and exceed business goals. This role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth store operations, enhancing the customer experience, and driving sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the retail stores, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and ensure timely restocking of products.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of retail associates to deliver excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and offer development opportunities for team members.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring staff is trained and engaged in customer-focused behaviours.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns effectively, ensuring resolutions that drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and take corrective action when necessary.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and work with management to implement strategies for growth.
- Ensure products are correctly displayed and meet company visual merchandising standards.
- Conduct regular stock audits and work closely with the inventory team to manage stock levels and avoid overstock or stockouts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and personnel performance.
- Prepare and present reports on store performance to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation for employee work schedules, payroll, and other operational matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail management or operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a clean driving license
