Production Process Improvement

Description:

• Provide and maintain personalisation printing software, inspection hardware, and personalisation hardware.
• Manage customer data for the shop floor through secure database interactions.
• Set up, configure, and administer multiple secure numbering systems using various database structures.
• Administer and control the process flow of secure and sensitive customer data.
• Liaise with central information systems and third parties for new system integrations with hardware.
• Develop new methods to enhance efficiency within the production environment.
• Achieve performance targets for quality, cost, and delivery using Lean Manufacturing tools, while driving continuous improvement.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees in the personalisation area.
• Assist customers with new projects, parts, and products.
• Support New Product Introduction and R&D trials.
• Provide technical support for personalisation and inspection processes.
• Assist with data preparation for audits and traceability data extraction.
• Support the transition to new personalisation technologies.
• Assist Personalisation and Production front-line management with daily tasks (e.g., reports, production support).
• Contribute to short- and medium-term plans for continuous improvement, leveraging innovative ideas and new technologies.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in Maltese and English, both written and spoken
• Strong ability in Mathematics
• Knowledge of C#
• Database knowledge, SQL minimum, other structures advantageous
• Knowledge of scripting techniques
• Knowledge of various operating systems including legacy ones

Education and Experience

• Graduated in IT, Engineering or any other related discipline
• Experience in setting up hardware systems and their associated software
• Experience integrating hardware and software
