Job Description
- In view of regular operational reporting needs and horizontal operational support, and requests for information stemming from other Units/Sectors/Centres in EUAA, the Project Officer – interim support will conduct information collection and analysis of practices, based on a variety of sources and directly from stakeholders and in the field to maintain a full situational picture of developments in MS where EUAA provides operational support.
- Facilitate exchange and harmonization within the Operational Support Centre in terms of reporting and communication activities.
- Support and/or advise the Senior Coordinator and the Head Centre in accordance with the EUAA policies on the management of information knowledge systems and its execution to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, quality and budget.
- Support the access to information and guidance for deployed experts by creating, updating and maintaining country-specific information on country operations platforms (COP)
- Collect and organize information on operations updates, feeding information into relevant databases, and preparing high-level presentations, Management Board, various reports based on that information.
- Maintain regular exchange of information and constant harmonization in terms of reporting and communication activities within the Units/Sectors of Operational support Centre via regular calls, meetings and exchanges.
- Other tasks coordinated by the Senior Coordinator and/or Head of Centre.
Minimum requirement
- A completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma.
- At least two years of pertinent professional experience with relevant tasks;
- Experience in managing of or working with databases, websites, newsletters and similar tools;
- Knowledge of asylum, migration and fundamental rights;
- Thorough Knowledge of English (level C1 in all dimensions as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or CEFRL);
- Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite, use of internet and web-based applications.
Advantageous criteria
- University degree, preferably in areas relevant to information management
- Experience in liaising with MS representatives and other stakeholders (civil society organizations etc.);
- Experience in drafting written outputs (analyses, reports) on matters related to asylum and migration;
- Previous experience within an international and multicultural environment.
