Group ESG Manager

  Central Malta  |  €50,000 - €60,000 Annually 

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives across the organization. This role will be pivotal in developing and implementing strategies that enhance our sustainability practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ESG principles and a proven track record in driving positive change within an organization.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive ESG strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Monitor and report on ESG performance metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
- Engage with stakeholders, including investors, customers, and regulatory bodies, to communicate ESG initiatives and progress.
- Conduct risk assessments related to ESG factors and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in ESG to ensure compliance and enhance the company's reputation.
- Lead training and awareness programs to promote a culture of sustainability within the organization.
- Prepare and publish ESG reports in accordance with relevant frameworks and standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in ESG management, sustainability, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective ESG strategies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change within the organization.
