Project Lead/Project Manager

Our client is an established company in Malta that offers software solutions to its clients. As they are growing, they would need to engage a Project Lead/Project Manager who will be also be managing a team and reporting directly into the Head of IT.

The Role

• You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects and services, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards. 
• The role involves coordinating resources and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address business challenges. 
• You will manege the delivery of products or services, engaging with clients, and supporting the preparation of business cases, proposals, and tenders. 
• You will also plan and monitor project progress, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• You will manage third-party contributions and ensuring smooth collaboration with contractors is crucial, as is effective communication with stakeholders through presentations, articles, and meetings. 
• The role also requires strong risk management, anticipating problems, and implementing solutions to prevent delays. 
• Regular progress reporting and escalation of issues when necessary are key aspects of the job. 
• You will mentor junior staff and help identify and fulfill their training needs.

Requirements

• Have an ICT related qualification/degree
• Have proven leadership skills
• Have strong communication & people skills
• Can coordinate with management & all stakeholders contributing to the overall success of the company
• Have related, proven experience in a similar role
