Our client, a Building Services Company are looking for an experienced professional to oversee and manage building services projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of building services, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams effectively. Reporting to the Head of Department your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage building services projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing changes as necessary to achieve project goals.
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress, address challenges, and ensure effective communication.
- Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in building services, HVAC or a similar industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
