Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Regularly visit ongoing project sites to ensure effective execution of work.
• Prepare materials and tools for project tasks and maintain updated records of their usage and return.
• Coordinate with the department manager to ensure timely procurement of materials and allocate technicians/installers for specific tasks.
• Oversee a team of technicians/installers, providing guidance on installation requirements and ensuring timely completion in line with standards.
• Liaise with suppliers for orders, designs, and technical support as needed.
• Report site issues and work amendments to the department manager to maintain project efficiency.
• Communicate with customers about project progress and address any required changes.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and drawing offices to ensure successful project execution.
• Handle administrative tasks, including preparing necessary project documentation.
• Stay updated on service station software and hardware.
• Provide support to the maintenance team and assist technicians on-site as needed.
• Attend project meetings, training sessions, conferences, and factory visits, both locally and abroad.

• Capacity to follow instructions, innovate solutions, and work collaboratively within a team.
• Engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a recognized institution.
• Experience in engineering projects, preferably in fuel, mechanical, or electrical industries.
• Proficiency in English, with Italian and Maltese being advantageous.
• Ability to lead teams, handle complaints professionally, and follow up with stakeholders to prevent delays.
• Highly motivated, independent worker with strong judgment and reasoning skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, quality control-oriented, and methodical in approach.
• Flexible with work hours, including availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive or professional interactions tactfully.
• Willingness to travel for short work assignments abroad.
• Physically capable of working indoors and outdoors, wearing personal protective equipment for extended periods.
• Knowledge of trade hazards and ability to work safely under pressure with diverse personnel.
