Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from planning to completion. This role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, and technical knowledge to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project plans, including work schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and timelines.
- Oversee all aspects of project development, ensuring adherence to finishing specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines are met in line with the program of works.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and suppliers.
- Liaise with stakeholders for BOQ drafting and tender bid analysis, ensuring required specifications are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
- Supervise site activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all project-related activities.
- Monitor project budgets continuously and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement.
- Report to the Head of Projects or other relevant reporting lines on proposals, budgeting, and project progress.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize costs while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Requirements
- Fluent in Maltese and English is a must.
- Valid and clean driving license.
- Ability to read architectural and structural plans, think critically, and develop solutions.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and project management skills.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as lead, motivate, and train teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience
- Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
