Our client is a household name on the Maltese Islands. They would like to engage a skilled Sales Operations Manager to oversee sales operations across Malta and Gozo, You will ensure the implementation of the store concept, optimizing processes, and achieving targets while fostering team development and professional growth.
The Role
- You will lead employees per corporate principles, setting objectives, delegating tasks, and monitoring their completion.
- You will promote collaboration, conduct employee meetings, manage recruitment and contracts, and address disciplinary issues.
- You will have frequent store visits, participation in district and department manager discussions, and support for store openings and refurbishments are integral to the role.
- The Sales Operations Manager will implement sales concepts, optimize processes, and coordinate across departments within the Regional Distribution Centre.
- You will plan staffing and sales structures, analyse performance metrics, and ensure objectives are met through continuous reviews and strategic measures.
Will be required to travel(not frequent)
Requirements
- must have at least two years of experience in a senior management role, preferably in retail sales or supply chain, with proven expertise in sales operations management.
- You must have strong leadership skills
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
- Fluency in English is required, with Maltese and Italian language skills preferred.
Education and Experience
- Preferably have tertiary level of education
