Safety and Quality Officer (Aviation)

  Central Malta  |  €40,000 - €50,000 Annually 

Our client, a growing international company within the aviation industry are looking for a Safety and Quality Officer. Reporting to the Compliance and Safety Manager your main task will be to manage the daily operations of the Safety Management System (SMS) for the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and management of flight safety manuals and SMS.
  • Conducting safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Analyzing incident and accident reports to identify trends and recommend preventive measures.
  • Facilitating safety training programs for crew and ground staff.
  • Collaborating with technical and operational teams to integrate safety considerations into all phases of flight operations.
  • Updating manuals and procedures based on current regulations.
  • Participating in safety communication actions.

Requirements

  • Must have first experience in the field of quality in a similar function in the aeronautical field (CAMO, ATO, Part 145, AOC).
  • A desire to work in the aviation industry within a dynamic group,
  • Autonomy, organization and rigour,
  • Confidentiality and discretion,
  • Adaptability and flexibility in the face of change,
  • A desire to learn,
  • Listening and interpersonal skills,
  • Fluency in spoken and written English whilst French is preferred
  • Good computer skills.
