Business Manager

  South of Malta  |  €35,000 - €45,000 Annually 

Our client, a leading supplier are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Manager to join their team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, drive business growth, and ensure organisational efficiency. A key aspect of this position involves managing supplier relationships and key client accounts within the department. Reporting to the CEO your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop in-depth supplier knowledge and maintain strong supplier relationships through clear communication and regular visits.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and manage agency agreements.
  • Identify new business opportunities and explore new products from current suppliers.
  • Monitor competitors and analyse market trends.
  • Identify relevant exhibitions and business trips for industry insights.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by implementing effective pricing strategies and managing Account Representatives.
  • Approve supplier orders and control stock levels in coordination with the Operations Manager.
  • Lead and mentor team members to foster a productive and collaborative work environment.
  • Coordinate with partners and Supply Chain for technical training.
  • Secure necessary certifications and training.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:30 - 16:00



Requirements

  • Prior local experience in business within related sectors, along with certification in PPE, construction management, engineering, chemistry, or manufacturing.
  • Excellent command in English, Maltese would be preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have a clean driving licence.
