Counter and Stores Executive

  Central Malta  |  €25,000 - €30,000 Annually 

Our client, a Building Services Company are looking for an experienced Counter and Stores Executive. Reporting to the Store Manager you will support in the daily store and warehouse operations by delivering excellent customer service, managing stock, and maintaining a clean, organised environment. The role involves assisting customers, handling inventory, coordinating deliveries, and supporting internal teams to ensure efficient operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greet and assist customers, handle transactions, and respond to inquiries.
  • Receive, organise, and restock inventory, ensuring proper labelling and pricing.
  • Perform stock checks, manage rotations, and report damaged or expired items.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe store environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and support new staff training.
  • Act as a liaison between the Stores Manager and assistants: planning deliveries, assigning tasks, following pick lists, and updating on operations.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 15:30

Requirements

  • Hold retail or store experience in such as ironmongery, lighting, plumbing, or similar hardware-related environments locally.
  • Hold an excellent level of written and verbal English
  • Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
