Head of Sales (FMCG)

  South of Malta  |  €45,000 - €50,000 Annually 

A local and well-established client of ours operating within the FMCG industry is looking for an experienced Head of Sales. Reporting to the Director's you will lead a team consisting of Area Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, Merchandisers, and Promoters.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the sales team (Area Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, Merchandisers, and Promoters), reporting to Directors.
  • Develop sales strategies, forecast, and set objectives.
  • Drive growth, market share, and manage profit and loss.
  • Plan territories and maintain sales routes.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with Directors on compensation plans and performance appraisals.
  • Design incentive schemes and plan promotions.
  • Build a strong customer pipeline and manage pricing, sales volumes, and product mix.
  • Oversee discounts, returns, and damaged goods control.
  • Assist in promotional planning, new product development, and public relations.
  • Handle customer complaints and represent the company at trade events.

Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00

Requirements

  • Hold at least 2 years of local experience in a similar managerial role and industry (FMCG)
  • Candidates must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
  • Hold an excellent level of written and verbal English
  • Able of working from the office
