Head of Sales

  Central Malta  |  starting from €60,000 Annually 

Our client is looking to recruit a Head of Sales to join their growing team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the chosen candidate will:

  • Design and execute a sales strategy aligned with organizational goals, enhancing market share and driving growth in the services industry;
  • Translate corporate objectives into actionable sales plans with measurable outcomes;
  • Recruit, lead, and inspire a high-performing sales team;
  • Provide regular coaching, mentorship, and training to foster professional growth and ensure alignment with organizational standards;
  • Implement detailed reporting frameworks to monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and present insights to senior stakeholders;
  • Use data-driven strategies to identify areas of improvement and success;
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and long-term loyalty;
  • Identify and act on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, maximizing client value;
  • Partner with internal teams (Operations, HR, Technology, and Finance) to streamline workflows and support cohesive business objectives;
  • Establish and track sales and operational KPIs, ensuring alignment with company strategy and optimization of resources;
  • Develop efficient sales pipelines and forecast accuracy models;
  • Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities;
  • Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales reporting and performance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education and Experience

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales leadership within the services industry.
  • Preferably in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; (MBA preferred)
  • Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office and sales analytics tools.
  • Must be located in Malta, holding local experience.
