Outdoor Sales Representative (FMCG)

  Central Malta  |  €16,000 - €20,000 Annually 

Our client operating within the FMCG industry is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outdoor Sales Person to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by actively engaging with potential and existing customers, visiting retailers, and ensuring the range of products are well-represented in various sales channels and client satisfaction all throughout. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and potential customers (retailers, wholesalers, etc.).
  • Visit assigned outlets regularly to take orders, ensure stock availability, and promote products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing product information and negotiating prices and promotions.
  • Ensure products are displayed prominently in retail stores, increasing visibility and driving sales.
  • Monitor stock levels in stores and communicate re-order requirements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular market visits to evaluate competitor activities, pricing, and promotions.

The salary range assigned is gross basic, and therefore excludes the commission structure which is in place. 

Requirements

  • Candidates must already be living and working in Malta, with the legal right of working in Malta
  • Excellent command in English; Maltese preferred
  • Honesty, reliability and eagerness to contribute towards the good of the team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills
  • Valid local driving licence is a must

Education and Experience

  • Prior local experience in Sales is a must
  • In addition to the above, experience in FMCG is highly desired
