Sales Manager

  Central Malta  |  starting from €40,000 Annually 

Our client, a leading local importer and distributor is looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the CEO, the chosen candidate will:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aimed at driving revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Spearhead the development and execution of sales initiatives in established and emerging markets.
  • Evaluate the performance of brands and products, introducing strategies to strengthen market position and maximize returns.
  • Identify and seize growth opportunities in current and potential markets to accelerate sales expansion.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to support business growth initiatives.
  • Oversee customer insights and analysis to refine engagement strategies and boost client satisfaction.
  • Lead, and empower a high-performing sales team to surpass key performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Promote a workplace culture rooted in innovation, accountability, and team collaboration.
  • Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team to shape business direction.
  • Assume full profit and loss (P&L) accountability for the division, ensuring financial objectives are achieved or exceeded.
  • Direct sales planning, resource allocation, and forecasting to align with financial goals on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Manage budgets, streamline purchasing processes, and allocate resources effectively for operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must have a proven results-driven leadership experience, with a strategic mindset
  • Ability to inspire and manage teams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Education and Experience

  • Certification in Business is given preference.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and customer relationship management.
  • Proven record of market research methodologies and tools.
