This job of a Sales Manager is for an experienced leader to oversee the performance of a sales team while ensuring sales goals are met by the right planning, supporting the team as needed and focusing on client needs and market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as needed
- Monitor and evaluate team performance and provide feedback and guidance
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and industry partners
- Analyze customer data and market trends to identify new opportunities
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and customers
- Prepare and oversee sales budgets, data analysis and other relevant reports
Requirements
- Technical and Product knowledge related to the building services industry is seen as an asset - power tools, ventilation, water pumps and other consumables and accessories
- Strong understanding of the sales process
- Excellent communication at all levels
- IT Savvy - word, excel and presentation tools
- Analytical and good at reading numbers
Education and Experience
- Degree level of Education in a related field - Business Management, Sales, Marketing or similar
- Minimum 3 years experience within a Sales role is a must with a track record of leading a team
