Our Client is seeking a proactive and responsible Sales Representative to manage the daily operations in a standalone role. This position involves sales, stocking, and cashier duties, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth store operations. A valid Category B driving license (Maltese or International) is preferred but not mandatory. Basic training will be provided.
Sales & Customer Service:
- Engage with customers, assist with product selection, and drive sales.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to answer customer queries.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Stocking & Inventory Management:
- Receive, unpack, and organize stock in the store.
- Ensure shelves are well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and report low inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment if required.
Cashiering & Transactions:
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Process cash, card, and digital payments securely.
- Maintain accurate daily sales records and reports.
- Follow company policies regarding returns and refunds.
Other Responsibilities:
- Open and close the store independently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, retail, or cashiering is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy for POS systems and inventory tracking.
- A Category B driving license (Maltese or International) is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and undergo basic training.
