Senior Sales Manager

  Central Malta  |  €40,000 - €45,000 Annually 

Our client who specialises in the Automotive industry is looking for a Senior Sales Manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide leadership to the B2C sales and sales administration teams, ensuring alignment with sales targets and company objectives.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage the performance of sales and administration staff
  • Oversee product knowledge training and ensure collaboration with the Marketing team 
  • Work closely with Procurement to manage stock orders in line with customer demand and market trends.
  • Engage with suppliers to stay updated on new products and market developments.
  • Monitor sales revenue and profitability, analyzing reports to track performance and achieve targets.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, revising sales commission structures to incentivize profitability.
  • Oversee trade-in valuations, and reserved stock, and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Evaluate and optimize internal efficiency at customer touchpoints, implementing automation and process improvements.
  • Analyze monthly mystery shopping results, making operational changes to enhance customer satisfaction (e.g., target NPS of 80).
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the sales team and improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer complaints, maintain showroom standards, and manage administrative tasks like timesheets, leave requests, and commission payouts.
  • Communicate regularly with Sales, Call Centre, and Marketing teams regarding updates and offers.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders, implementing CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Report to senior management on sales performance and market insights.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements

  • Good command of both English and Maltese
  • Familiar with Microsoft desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Passion for sales
  • Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change
  • Ability to design and prepare statistical reports and presentations as needed

Education and Experience

  • experience in a senior business development or sales role
