A leading ICT services company are looking for a Manager to lead their Managed Services Business Unit.
We are looking for a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence and business development. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend operational management with business development, working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and our sales team to drive success and expand our service offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Managed Services Business Unit, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds SLAs and client expectations.
- Implement and drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, performance, and service quality.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and secure new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
- Lead or support the development of customised solutions for clients and manage proposal preparation and presentations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Managed Services professionals.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure alignment with business targets.
- Stay abreast of market trends and innovations to keep our services competitive and forward-thinking.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT related field, or
- Proven 5 year+ local experience in a managerial role within the managed services industry or a related field.
- Strong operational management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality services.
- Excellent business development skills, with the ability to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and motivating team members.
- Financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues effectively.
