Our client is looking for an experienced BI Operations Engineer to join their team and help build and maintain their Business Intelligence solutions.
In this role, you will play a critical part in monitoring and maintaining our data pipelines and ensuring the efficient operation of our Microsoft SQL Server-based data warehouse. You will collaborate with data engineers and analysts to uphold data quality, troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure seamless data flow from various sources to the data warehouse by overseeing data quality and pipeline performance.
- Address escalated issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
- Partner with data engineers and analysts to support data-related initiatives and projects.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to guarantee data availability and timely resolution of issues.

Requirements
- Expertise in SQL, ETL tools, and data warehouse technologies and cloud databases
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and database management.
- Previous experience in a second-level support role or similar, with a focus on data engineering or database systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
